Phoenix Video (v.ifeng.com) recently achieved full connection with QQ, China’s most influential instant message software under Tencent. According to statistics from iResearch, Phoenix Video enjoyed some 6,000 more PVs on a daily basis since connecting with QQ, and the number is on the increase.
As disclosed by staff within Tencent, the two will further connect with each other by account sharing, users’ data share, and content socialization (towards SNS).

Search engine Baidu Inc. signed a digital music distribution deal in China with a company backed by Universal Music, Warner Music, and Sony Music.
Baidu inked the deal with One-Stop China, a joint venture created by Universal Music, Warner Music and Sony Music. The new partnership was accompanied by a conciliation agreement, endorsed by the Beijing High People's Court that ended outstanding litigation between the three record companies and Baidu.

By the end of June 2011, China’s total box office reached RMB5.698 billion (US$880.91 million), according to SARFT. Domestic films contributed RMB2.932 billion (US$453.28 million), while imported titles took RMB2.766 billion (US$427.62 million).
