    The US-based Cimarron Group recently set up its first ever office in mainland China. According to reports, the newly-established Beijing office will specialize in offering marketing solutions through SNS (Social Network Service) platforms for Chinese film and TV program providers.

  • Online Video Ad Agency Gets Investment from DCM

    Share Media, an online video ad agency, announced on July 5 that it had achieved its first round of fundraising, with ‘some tens of millions’ of US dollar investment from DCM Investment Fund.
    Share Media was founded in 2010 by Jiang Lan, former executive at China-based online ad agency Xin Ruiyi Media. Jiang now works as CEO of Share Media.

  • Hasee To Invest in Internet Marketing

    Information technology company Hasee and Internet video website Qiyi.com have announced in Beijing that the two parties have reached agreement on a strategic advertising cooperation that will see Hasee invest RMB 30 million (US$4.638 million) to place advertisements on Qiyi.com.

    The news was announced by Gong Yu, chief executive officer of Qiyi.com, and Wu Haijun, chairman of Hasee. Hasee will launch a new summer marketing blitz to promote its several new products via Qiyi.com’s Internet marketing platform.
