Overview
CMM-I has been the official China Representative for German Films since 2007.
The services provided by CMM-I to German Films and its member companies range from promoting German Films in China, jointly attending Chinese TV and Film events and festivals as well as providing consulting services.
The cooperation is aimed at enabling a comprehensive flow of information on the Chinese film industry. At the same time, German Films and CMM-I are working to increase the awareness and distribution of German films in the Chinese market as well as intensify networking business opportunities between the German and Chinese film industries.

Monthly Film Screenings in Beijing
German Films and CMM-I showcase contemporary German films with monthly screenings free of charge in a modern school auditorium in Beijing that seats more than 200 people.

Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF)
Each year, a German film delegation including producers, distributors and actors travels to the SIFF, creating a platform for German and Chinese film professionals to meet and exchange ideas on cooperation.
FOCUS GERMANY, which showcases German films in Shanghai movie theatres every year and provides Chinese audiences with a comprehensive overview of present German filmmaking has become one of SIFF's must-attend events. FOCUS GERMANY also features the renowned German Cocktail Party.

Shanghai International Television Festival (STVF)
The German Films stand at the STVF is part of the International Pavilion organized by CMM-I. It provides German TV distribution companies and producers the opportunity to meet and discuss deals with Chinese TV professionals.

German Films Previews
Held as a three days event every year in July, the German Films Previews invite professional buyers from all over the world to meet in Germany to view the latest German films. As China Representative for German Films, CMM-I invites Chinese buyers (theatrical release and TV) to participate in the German Films Previews.

German Films Quarterly is a quarterly publication on the current German production scene. Each issue features portraits on German directors, producers and actors, as well as production reports and information on new German films.
