CMM-I is committed to driving forward China's media debate and official PRC conferences play an essential role in efforts to bring international and Chinese experts together. While there are unique challenges posed by such events in China, this year’s conference was also attended and praised by senior leaders of Chinese TV institutions and organizations.

In particular, the new leaders of the Beijing Radio & TV Group were very impressed with the high standard of presentations, the collection of conference materials and the high turnout for the event. Their support strengthens the case for future conferences with strong international presence.

CMM Intelligence will again co-ordinate international participation in China's next major industry event, the 2001 Sichuan TV Festival International Forum (October). While maintaining keynote speaking positions on the first day, Sichuan provides an opportunity to take the debate deeper with special sessions on specific genres.
