Florian Fettweis
Florian was born in Hamburg, Germany, and joined CMM-I in 2010.
Florian holds a degree in Business Sinology from the University of Applied Sciences Bremen, where he wrote his thesis on the topic of Mobile Broadcasting and the Market for Mobile TV in China. Florian also studied Chinese at Sichuan University in Chengdu and Entertainment Industry Management at Carnegie Mellon University in the US, where he studied under the auspices of a Fulbright scholarship awarded by the German-American Fulbright Commission.
Florian gained work and internship experience in the media and entertainment business on three continents. Prior to joining CMM-I, Florian worked for NBC Universal and Relativity Media in Los Angeles, public broadcaster ZDF and Disney’s The Lion King musical in Germany as well as for the Shanghai Grand Theatre, where he became the first foreigner ever to be employed by that theatre.
Florian speaks, reads and writes fluent Chinese Mandarin, English and German.
