Chinese online video website Youku announced it has reached a strategic partnership with one of the largest TV stations in Korea - Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS), reports PC Home. Under the partnership, Youku will own the webcast rights to all TV dramas in the SBS library and dramas to be produced over the next three years. It is estimated that Youku will get the rights to webcast around 200 titles of Korean TV dramas with 6,000 episodes, including titles such as Beautiful Girl and Autumn in My Heart. There are rumors that Youku has spent tens of millions of RMB to secure the partnership with SBS, whose dramas have been a hit among Chinese audiences.
