CMM Intelligence is publishing the 2008-2009 World TV Guide, the definitive global TV markets information resource for Chinese media executives.

State Administration of Radio, Film and TV (SARFT) Minister Xu Guangchun wrote the welcoming words for the inaugural edition, which was published in cooperation with the China Radio, Film and Publishing Group in 2003. The World TV Information Map section provides easy-to-reference information on broadcast standards, major international broadcast organizations, annual events and awards, and program/advertising rate cards.

The new 2008-2009 edition will feature:

  • An international and regional overview covering policy and regulation, broadcast technology and program production, distribution and advertising,
  • Key demographic, economic, cultural and industry data for each country,
  • Country by country listings of key TV and TV-related organizations, with the option for companies to take out enhanced listings,
  • An English-Chinese glossary of all TV industry terms and a full A-Z index of all listings,
  • And more.

Circulation

More than 5,500 copies of the 2008-2009 World TV Guide will be distributed to Chinese film and TV executives via the event bags at leading industry events, including the 2009 Shanghai TV Festival. A further 500 copies will be mailed to key executives across the Mainland.
